September is here, and so are the students at Franklin College. It is great to see all of the hussling and busselling around with activity that brightens the college campus.

It also means the changes that come with the Fall season and the way God’s creations appear to us. The flowers are fading away, while the leaves on the trees are changing colors and adding to the beauty of the earth. We are getting closer to the end of another year, and we realize just how quickly things change and how quickly we must adapt to those changes.

Our church calendar continues to have several opportunities for us to spread God’s word here in our community.  On September 10 at 8 a.m., we will be serving breakfast to about 25 people who are giving of their time to build a new home for a needy family here in Franklin. The build is taking place at 801 Young St, and we will also be having a devotional with them to help start their day.

As always, we are streaming our service each week on Zoom, and would like to encourage you to join us there, should you not be able to worship with us in person. If you would like the link to the service, feel free to email us at the church office, franklinfbcoffice@gmail.com, with your information, and you will be added to the invite list.

We also encourage you to pray for our congregation and our ministry as we continue in our transition journey. We continue to strive to raise each other up in an attempt to strengthen us in our daily walk with God.
